RER was selected by OAHP to provide management
support services to HUD Project Managers on over 1500
multi-family properties - involving more than 4,500
loans - that have completed debt restructuring under
the Mark-to-Market program. In addition to providing
annual project specific analysis on each property’s
financial situation, RER prepares monthly portfolio
summary reports to OAHP. Upon request by the HUD Project
Manager and approval from OAHP, RER also provides intensive
servicing on individual assets to resolve discrepancies
between projected and actual project performance.RER performed both financial advisory and due
diligence tasks in this engagement. Our specific securities
understanding and valuation knowledge was utilized in
the documentation, analysis and ultimate disposition
strategies for these complex assets. RER’s responsibilities
included completing due diligence on all assets, valuing
all securities, analyzing derived income, identifying
ownership interest, analyzing tax liability consequences
and recommending stratification and ultimate pooling
decisions and disposition strategies for the entire
portfolio.
RER was engaged by a European based partnership
that was investing in opportunistic U.S. commercial
real estate assets. RER was engaged to develop complete
acquisition and turnaround strategies for each defaulted
commercial real estate loan or unstabilized asset the
partnership purchased. These detailed strategies were
then budgeted and executed by RER to the point of stabilization
and ultimate disposition.
